Getting paid
You set the price. We take a platform fee.
That is the whole arrangement. The platform makes structured virtual care billable and easy — a service most practices do not currently offer and cannot easily stand up alone — and what you charge for it is yours to decide.
How the money moves
Client to practice, with us in the path as the processor.
You set the price
Different rates by service and by time if you want them — a routine virtual visit, an after-hours call, a weekend rate. Yours to set and yours to change.
The client pays it in the app
We handle card processing on your behalf, so you do not have to stand up a payment relationship of your own to be paid for virtual care.
Funds settle to your own account
An account you connect and control, in your practice’s own name, with full reporting in your earnings area. The money moves from the client to you; we sit in the path as the processor of record, never as the owner of your revenue.
A flat platform fee comes out
It funds the infrastructure that makes the visit possible. A flat amount, never a percentage — a share of your fee would make us a partner in your pricing, which is precisely what this model refuses to be.
What carries no fee at all
Connecting is free. Integrating is free.
Connecting your practice
Verification, the practice dashboard, records access, the triage inbox, case preparation. No setup fee and no monthly fee.
Integrating your practice system
The integration itself costs you nothing, and it is what unlocks telemedicine, sync, booking and scheduling. We do not charge you to connect to software you already pay for.
Secure messaging
No per-use fee, ever. Messaging your clients is part of the relationship rather than a metered service.
Your in-person care
Untouched. We capture nothing from the visits you perform in your own building.
Third-party fees are pass-through only and are never marked up. If your practice management system or its integration provider charges an interface, licensing or connectivity fee, that provider bills you directly, or we pass it through at exact cost. Stated here rather than discovered later.
Where the numbers are
Every fee is disclosed inside the system, to verified veterinarians.
Learn more by registering as a verified DVM. Once we have verified your accreditation you have full access to the system, where all pricing and commercial detail is set out in full — disclosed to registered veterinarians only.
Becoming a Verified OurPack veterinarian is the first step toward a better owner–vet relationship. It is free, it is one-time, and it does not commit you to anything beyond it. We have verified your credentials — nothing more is asked of you at that point.
The client subscription
Paid by the owner, directly to OurPack — and cheaper when they are your client.
What it is not
Not something your practice pays for. There is no subscription revenue share with veterinarians, and there never has been. There is no per-visit referral fee either.
The one payment that runs to you
A one-time referral fee for a client who registers as a genuinely new OurPack member through your practice’s own QR code. One-time rather than shared revenue, and nothing at all on someone who was already a member — they simply link to you.
It pays for real new acquisition and nothing else, which is why it is the only referral payment in the model.
How do I start?
Tell us about your practice. We will answer for your practice management system specifically, and there is nothing to sign to find out.
